Key Duties of a Sheet Metal Mechanic / Technician:
· Sheet metal technicians are responsible for crafting, constructing, installing, and maintaining sheet metal goods and structures, such as ducts, roofs, and gutters
· Collaborate with a variety of materials, including aluminum, steel, copper, and other metals, to produce items for industries like construction and manufacturing
· Utilizing tools like saws, riveters, and welding equipment, they complete their tasks efficiently
· Ideal candidates for sheet metal technician roles must possess strong problem-solving skills to address any challenges encountered during installation or repair projects.
