Do you have experience in production and management? Utility Staffing Group is currently hiring Operations Manager positions in Phoenix, AZ.
Details for Operations Manager position:
· Up to $130,000· Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire· Zero Fees - you’ll never be charged for any screening service
Job duties for Operations Manager:
· Oversee daily power utility operations (including transmission, and distribution), ensuring efficient energy distribution and compliance with industry standards· Lead and manage a team of 4-5 direct reports and indirectly oversee 30 staff members· Lead operational performance/metrics monitoring, process optimization, and resource allocation· Coordinate infrastructure projects, including upgrades, maintenance, and expansion· Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders (including regulatory bodies, contractors, and customers), manage budgets, coordinate team estimation and project drawing, and balance multiple tasks· Conduct regular meetings, performance reviews, and prepare operational reports for senior management· Follow all policies and safety procedures in place· Completes any other related tasks as needed
Qualifications and Desired Skills for Operations Manager:
· High school diploma or equivalent· Must have previous lineman experience for about 5 years· Must have about 5 years in operation management· Management skills with proven ability to prioritize tasks and maintain productivity in a fast-paced, dynamic environment· Minimum of 10 years of experience in the power utility industry· Ability to stoop, bend, squat, kneel, twist and reach
