 Key Duties of a Commercial Plumber Technicians:

  • Installing, repairing, and maintaining water, gas, and other piping systems in commercial buildings
     
  • Reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems and materials required
     
  • Assembling, installing, and repairing pipes, fittings, and fixtures using various tools and equipment
     
  • Performing regular maintenance of plumbing systems
     
  • Installing plumbing systems at new properties
     
  • Inspecting previously installed plumbing systems
     
  • Conducting necessary repairs to previously installed systems
     
  • Responding to plumbing service calls from contractors


 Special Skills & Knowledge Required:

  • Requires a High School Diploma or GED
  • May require lifting, pushing or pulling of objects over 50 pounds
