Key Duties of a Commercial Plumber Technicians:
- Installing, repairing, and maintaining water, gas, and other piping systems in commercial buildings
- Reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems and materials required
- Assembling, installing, and repairing pipes, fittings, and fixtures using various tools and equipment
- Performing regular maintenance of plumbing systems
- Installing plumbing systems at new properties
- Inspecting previously installed plumbing systems
- Conducting necessary repairs to previously installed systems
- Responding to plumbing service calls from contractors
Special Skills & Knowledge Required:
- Requires a High School Diploma or GED
- May require lifting, pushing or pulling of objects over 50 pounds
