Details for Project Engineer position:

Job duties for Project Engineer:
- Support construction-related functions of one or more projects
- Organize, manage, and track project documentation (plans, specifications, RFIs, submittals, as-builts) and oversee subcontractor and material deliverables
- Provide general support to the project team
- Conduct construction monitoring by interpreting drawings, measuring work, ensuring quality, observing field conditions, developing RFIs, and resolving issues
- Assist the Superintendent and Project Manager with work coordination, scheduling, quality control, materials tracking, and safety compliance
- Handle layout control (horizontal and vertical), conduct electronic as-built surveys, maintain an organized field book, and provide weekly updates on completed work quantities
- Follow all policies and procedures in place
- Completes any other related tasks as needed
Qualifications and Desired Skills for Project Engineer:
- Bachelors in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field of study is preferred but not necessary
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, AutoCAD, and scheduling/estimating software (e.g., Primavera, MS Project) with a focus on detail and practical problem-solving.
- Strong work ethic and effective communication skills, capable of collaborating with superintendents and senior project staff
- Ability to stoop, bend, squat, kneel, twist and reach
