- Guide and control vehicular and pedestrian traffic at construction sites for safety
- Direct traffic flow and stop vehicles to ensure safe passage for pedestrians and equipment
- Monitor traffic for hazards and take action to maintain a safe environment
- Communicate traffic patterns and safety procedures to drivers, pedestrians, and workers
- Operate and maintain traffic control equipment like cones, signs, and flags
- Report unsafe conditions, accidents, or violations to authorities
- Assist pedestrians in safely crossing streets and construction zones
- Follow all policies and safety procedures in place
- Completes any other related tasks as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to stand for the duration of shift
- Ability to stoop, bend, squat, kneel, twist and reach
