Qualifications and Desired Skills for Project Manager:
Must have five (5) or more years' experience in the process of heavy civil/water/wastewater construction
B.S. in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field of study is preferred but not necessary
High school diploma or equivalent
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Detail-oriented, task-focused, and possess a strong work ethic
Practical problem-solving abilities for effective interaction with superintendents and project personnel
Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and familiar with scheduling tools (Primavera, MS Project) and quantity take-off and pricing estimation
Ability to stoop, bend, squat, kneel, twist and reach

Job duties for Project Manager:
- Coordinate work functions, manage scheduling, budgets, quality control, and safety procedures
- Organize, log, and monitor project documents and provide general support to the project team
- Conduct construction monitoring, including interpreting drawings, measuring work, quality assurance, field observations, and problem-solving
- Foster positive relationships with counterparts at owner and engineering firms
- Construction monitoring tasks include interpretation of construction drawings, understanding of the construction process, measurement of work in place, quality assurance, field observations, development of RFI's, and problem solving
- Follow all policies and safety procedures in place
- Completes any other related tasks as needed
