Job Description
Utility Staffing Group is now hiring for Construction | Class A CDL in Knoxville, TN.
Key duties and details for Construction | Class A CDL:
Duties:
* Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
*Will help move trucks and equipment to project sites. Will gain opportunities to train with and operate various railroad specific and construction equipment.
* Physical strength when performing heavy labor that is required from constructionworkers such as lifting materials or loading and unloading railroad construction materials.
* Prepares work by studying and clarifying instructions and diagrams; calculating requirements; gathering supplies.
* Accomplishes work by operating non - CDL vehicles; observing varying conditions; adjusting equipment controls.
* Maintains safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.
* Physical stamina in order to handle the long hours of performing strenuous work during the day in hot or cold weather.
* Updates job knowledge by participating in training opportunities.
* Cleaning the construction site by removing hazards materials and debris from the worksite. Assisting craft workers such as welder with their duties, if needed.
Skills/Qualifications:
Conceptual Skills, Dealing with Complexity, Verbal Communication, Controls and Instrumentation, Equipment Maintenance, Construction Experience, Mechanical Inspection Tools, Decision Making, Safety Management, and Problem Solving.
